Caribbean Heritage Month
In commemoration of Caribbean Heritage Month, the NYC Commission on Human Rights, in partnership with the Haitian Roundtable, Diaspora Community Services, CAMBA, HAUP, and the Lion’s Club, will host Caribbean Heritage: Celebrating Our Culture and Mobilizing Our Community.
This event will feature a dynamic panel discussion around the issues Caribbean communities face in light of the way anti-Black racism and xenophobia are currently manifesting themselves. Attendees will hear the ways each panelist is organizing Caribbean communities, and what they believe is needed for true liberation. This event will feature guest speaker Rosemonde Pierre Louis, Chief Operating Officer at the McSilver Institute for Poverty Policy and Research at New York University. | RSVP and join us this Thursday, June 25 at 4 pm by going to https://bit.ly/CaribbeanHeritage.
